The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially launched a 10,000-member door-to-door canvassing team to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign. The initiative was inaugurated by APC leaders, including Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola and Governor Ademola Adeleke. The campaign aims to mobilize public support ahead of the 2027 general election.

Tomopolo, a political donor, contributed 30 vehicles to facilitate the campaign’s logistics. The team will conduct house-to-house outreach across Osun State, focusing on voter engagement and awareness. The APC’s strategy includes distributing campaign materials and holding community meetings to strengthen Tinubu’s electoral base.

This campaign marks a significant step in the political landscape of Nigeria, as major parties intensify efforts to secure votes. The APC’s decision to expand its grassroots presence reflects growing competition in the lead-up to the 2027 election. Political analysts note that such large-scale mobilization efforts are becoming more common as candidates seek to connect directly with voters. The campaign is expected to continue throughout the year, with further announcements on its progress anticipated.
