The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Festus Keyamo as Director of Air Mobilisation for its 2027 re-election campaign. The decision was announced as part of preparations for the upcoming national elections. Keyamo, who currently serves as Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, will oversee the coordination of air travel and aviation logistics for the party’s nationwide campaign activities.
The appointment was confirmed by the APC leadership, with emphasis on the strategic importance of air mobility in reaching voters across the country. Keyamo’s role will include managing the logistics of campaign events, ensuring efficient transportation of party officials and materials, and supporting voter engagement through air-based outreach.
This move comes as the APC continues to strengthen its campaign infrastructure ahead of the 2027 elections. The party has also been focusing on internal unity and policy alignment, with recent statements from party leaders supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms. The re-election campaign is expected to be one of the most ambitious in Nigerian political history, with a focus on broadening the party’s reach and voter base.
The APC’s decision to appoint Keyamo reflects a growing emphasis on modernizing campaign strategies and leveraging technological advancements in political mobilization. The party has also been working on internal restructuring, including efforts to increase female representation in state assemblies. These developments highlight the APC’s ongoing efforts to maintain its political dominance and adapt to evolving electoral challenges.
