Borno state’s APC stakeholders have publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu’s re-election campaign, reaffirming their loyalty to his administration. The declaration came after a meeting held on April 13, 2025, where key political figures in the state expressed their commitment to the APC’s vision and Tinubu’s leadership. The stakeholders emphasized their readiness to support the party’s efforts in the upcoming 2027 presidential elections.

The APC’s re-election campaign is set to begin in Kaduna on October 24, 2027, with Tinubu’s campaign team confirming the start date. The campaign will officially kick off in Kaduna, a key state in Nigeria’s political landscape. The Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, announced the date after meeting with Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The campaign aims to consolidate support for Tinubu ahead of the national elections.

Tinubu has faced challenges in maintaining political alliances, as some politicians he previously supported distanced themselves during the 2023 elections. APC Chairman Yilwatda acknowledged the loss of some allies but stressed the party’s resilience and continued focus on national unity. The recent endorsement from Borno’s APC stakeholders signals a renewed effort to strengthen the party’s base ahead of the 2027 elections. The campaign’s success will depend on the ability to rebuild trust and mobilize support across the country.
