The Orlando Magic lost their fourth consecutive home game on Friday, falling to the Washington Wizards. The Wizards won 112-105 at the Kia Center. The Magic have now lost four games in a row at home, marking their longest home losing streak since 2018.
The Wizards dominated the second half, outscoring the Magic by 22 points. Washington’s Anthony Davis led the team with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Orlando’s center, Mo Bamba, struggled with foul trouble and scored just 8 points. The Magic’s bench contributed only 32 points, compared to Washington’s 48.
This loss extends the Magic’s home losing streak to four games. The team has now lost six of their last seven games overall. Coach Steve Clifford has faced criticism for his team’s inconsistent play, particularly in the fourth quarter. The Wizards, meanwhile, improved to 12-15 on the season. The Magic will look to end their losing streak when they host the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday.
