Tesla Malaysia has announced plans to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging network, adding 92 Superchargers and 78 Destination Chargers. The company currently operates 21 Supercharger stations and 15 Destination Charger locations. The expansion includes six additional sites expected by the end of 2026.
The upgrade comes as part of Tesla’s broader strategy to support growing EV adoption in Malaysia. The Model Y L, a variant of the Model Y, is also set for an acceleration upgrade. The new charging infrastructure aims to improve convenience for Tesla owners across the country.
Malaysia has seen increasing interest in electric vehicles, driven by government incentives and environmental concerns. Tesla’s expansion aligns with the country’s push toward sustainable transportation. The company has not provided specific locations for the new charging stations, but the expansion is expected to enhance accessibility for Tesla drivers.
