Apple has launched the HomeView, a new smart home display powered by its revamped Siri AI assistant. The device features a 7-inch Liquid Retina screen and built-in speakers, designed to integrate with Apple’s ecosystem. It will be available for $299 in the United States starting November 13.

The HomeView includes a temperature and humidity sensor, which Apple claims is more advanced than previous models. This sensor now allows integration with LG and Schneider Electric’s Smart Thermostats, enabling room-by-room temperature control. The device also supports FaceTime and is voice-driven, enhancing user interaction.

Apple has been expanding its presence in smart home technology. The HomeView marks a strategic move to compete in living rooms and kitchens, areas traditionally dominated by other tech companies. With the integration of Siri AI, the device aims to offer a seamless experience for Apple users. The company continues to innovate in home automation, building on previous releases like the HomePod and Apple TV.
